With the increasing popularity of superhero genre, every year half dozen of superhero movies are released. Marvel, DC and Fox are the main players in the market & they are ready to dominate the box office with dozens of superhero movies in the future. Here is a list of Upcoming Superhero Movies 2018 and Beyond

2018

Black Panther

Everybody loved Chadwick Boseman as  Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War and now Chadwick Boseman will be reprising his role. Marvel  showcased  some footage at a recent convention and the action scenes were compared to CREED and KINGSMAN. In this movie we will witness the technologically superior African nation of Wakanda.

New Mutants

Five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will, fight to escape their past sins and save themselves Well that’s what imdb says about this movie. There is very little info. about this movie on internet. James Mcavoy is rumured to reprise his role as Professor X.

Avengers: Infinity War

Maybe this is the most awaited movie of this decade for superhero fans. The hype for this movie is very high considering the fact, that all the connections MCU have been making since the begining will finally come to an end, and Avengers will face their greatest foe: THANOS.

Deadpool 2

Deadpool and team will be back with new members of X-Force: Cable and Domino.

Ant-Man and The Wasp

Ant-Man will help Dr. Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne to uncover secrets from their past. He will fight alongside The Wasp on his new mission.

Venom

This movie is going to be R-rated adaptation of the symbiote storyline and Venom will be portrayed as an anti-hero with Carnage serving as the villain. Tom Hardy will be seen as Venom.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

This movie will serve as a sequel to X-Men: Apcalypse and will be based on the Dark Phoenix Saga comic storyline. Sophie Turner will be reprising her role as Jean Grey and Jessica Chastain will be seen as the villain Lilandra.

Aquaman

Jason Momoa as Aquaman first made his first appearence in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and also will be part of Justice League. And next year the underwater superhero of DC will be getting his solo movie. Aside from Momoa, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe are also confirmed to star in Aquaman.

Animated Spider-Man Film

The Spiderman of this movie will not be Peter Parker. Miles Morales will be seen as Spiderman. Liev Schreiber is playing the film’s villain and  Ice Cube has also been rumored to have joined the cast.

2019

Untitled FOX Marvel Mystery Film

Everything is ANNOUNCED except the release date. Fox has booked the slot for Feb 24 2018. Any guesses, what this film would be about ? X-Forece ? or another X-Men installment ?

Captain Marvel

This will be the first female-led MCU film. It was confirmed previous year that Brie Larson will play Carol Danvers and Samuel L. Jackson will repreise his role as Nick Fury. The film  will revolve around the origin story of most powerful character in the Marvel Cienmatic Universe. This film will be a prequel to the MCU, taking place in the 90s. A race of extraterrestrial shapeshifters known as the Skrulls will be seen as the villains, and we will also get the chance to see two-eyed Nick Fury.

Shazam!

Shazam is a superhero in the DC Comics Universe and the protector of Fawcett City. In his secret identity, he is William Joseph “Billy” Batson, a young boy who was chosen to be a champion of good by the wizard Shazam.Initially, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was going to play the role of Shazam, but now he is playing the villain known as  Black Adam.

Untitled Avengers Sequel

This will be the end of an Era. The conclusion to the Infinity War storyline and the final act of Marvel’s Phase 3.

Untitled Fox/Marvel Movie

Deadpool 3 ? Fantastic Four ? a new X-Men movie ? or New Mutants 2 ? There is no information on this movie.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2

The film is scheduled for released almost exactly two years after the original. Tom Holland will reprise the role of Spiderman and further details are yet to be confirmed.

Untitled DC Film

This could be ‘The Batman’. No proper information is there about this movie.

Untitled Fox/Marvel Film

Except from the releaste date, everything else is uknown about this film.

Wonder Woman 2

Wonder Woman was both critical and commercial success. Following the success, DC anounced the sequel. There are rumours that it could be set in the 1980s during the Cold War.

2020 and Beyond

2019 will end with a BANG with the release of Wonder Woman 2. 2020 will also be fun with a hell lot of movies but right now, it is too far away.  And there are just booked slots of release dates for 2020 and beyond,  by all the big studios including DC, Fox and Marvel.
