4G-enabled feature phone are ready to change the Indian market. After the hype of Jio Phone, many 4G-enabled feature phones were announced to compete with the famous Jio Phone. Feature phone covers more than 59 percent of market in India and with the entry of these cheap 4G-enabled feature phones, the market will change and the old 2G supporting feature will be replaced by 4G-enabled feature phone.
With the arrival of 4G-enabled feature phone, users will be able to browse the internet, watch youtube videos and live tv, install android apps and make VoLTE calls. The rural areas will benefit the most from these 4G-enabled feature phone as they are cheap and productive.

1. Jio Phone
JioPhone is the key player in 4G feature phones. It has a 2.4-inch QVGA (240×160 pixels) display, single SIM that supports only on VoLTE networks, microSD card support for storage expansion, torchlight, digital assistant, panic button, and support for 22 Indian languages as well as a phone-to-TV cable to mirror content to television screen. The chips used in the phone will be manufactured by Qualcomm and Spreadtrum.

2. Idea 4G phone
Idea will also launch it’s 4G-enabled feature phone soon.The price will be around 2500 Rs. and the customers will also be able to use popular apps like Google, Whatsapp and Facebook in this phone.
3. Lava 4G Connect M1 (Launched)
The first 4G feature phone launched in India which supports Reliance Jio’s 4G VoLTE network. The Lava 4G Connect M1 has a 2.4-inch screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It has 4GB internal storage, microSD card support up to 32GB, 1750mAh battery, and a VGA camera on the back. This phone is available to customers, both online and offline.
4. Micromax Bharat 1
Micromax Bharat 1 will be available to customers from December. It has 2.4-inch colour screen , 1.25GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and support for storage expansion up to 32GB, along with a 2-megapixel rear camera and 1500mAh battery, and dual SIM support.
5. Intex Turbo+ 4G
Intex will be launching it’s 4G-enabled feature phone this month . The Intex Turbo+ 4G has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB internal storage, expansion support up to 32GB, and 2000mAh battery.
6. Nokia 4G Feature Phone
Nokia will launch a 4G-enabled feature phone to compete with Reliance JioPhone in India. Specification and pricing are uknown.
7. Airtel 4G-enabled Feature phone
Airtel will also launch a 4G-enabled Feature phone in this month. The 4G phone will run on Android Nougat 7. It will have 1GB of RAM and will feature a 4-inch display and a 1500 mAh battery.
